1983 Chevrolet G30 Travlecraft

Check out the You Tube Video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHsj6X0Spdo This is a very nice 1983 Chevrolet G30 Transvan Class B+ Camper Van. This unit is just over 20' long bumper to bumper so one of the smaller ones built. 60,000 miles and a hard to find 6.2L Diesel Motor. Auto trans (non overdrive) power steering, brakes, cruise control, new stereo, all the gauges, no AC, and no other frilly options on this One Ton Dually Diesel. It Runs strong and drives great. Tons on new parts include, batteries, tires, starter, alternator, fuel injection pump, glow plugs, glow plug controller, torque converter, trans service, oil change and full inspection. The Coach is in great shape inside and out. It will sleep 4, 2 on the jacknife couch, and 2 on the dinette. There are 3 total seat belts but will seat 9 assuming you have that many friends that you want to hang out with. Lots of work done inside as well including new water pump, vent fans, led lights, kitchen faucet, drawers and knobs, built in microwave, tank dumps, and general spruce up work. There is a complete water system with fresh, grey, and black water tanks, 12v pump, shore hookup, 2 sinks and an RV toilet in the wet bath. There is a thermostatically controlled 12V Propane furnace, as well as as 12v van. The RV AC unit does work but it only blows on low speed. Along with the sink, the Kitchen has a 4 burner stove WITH an oven, 3 way refrigerator, roof vent light and fan, and the aforementioned new microwave. Lots of storage cabinets and cubbys as well. The interior is in beautiful original vintage shape, Ill just call the decor 'Amazing 80's!' Red and white velour, as well as red diamond tucked pleather, fringed tassels, wood paneling, and the amazing red stained glass roof accent lights. We did some wood work on the interior but it was so cool that we left it as much original as possible and took efforts to match the existing decor. Even built in cup holders and as trays. There is no smoke, or bad odors as it is extremely clean and was not smoked in and no sign of pets. Outside the unit, is in very good shape as well. The body is straight the paint looks good, There has been some touch ups as you would expect, and there is some stripes cracking and missing but it looks great overall. The roof seams have been all resealed, as well as the windows. There is a spot for a generator or use it for storage as needed. The chrome is nice, the bumpers are straight, all of the lights work, and nice new Hub Caps. Couple of things on this unit. This is a Diesel, and does not have an overdrive transmission so the comfortable cruising speed is around 60 mph, This will not drive 80mph on the highway with how it is geared. It's a slow, take yer time and enjoy the ride, getting there cruiser. At one time there was a roof leak in the bathroom and the top corner has a soft spot, It has been resealed inside and out so it looks good and will now be usable for many years to come.
