Up for sale today is a very nice 1997 Dodge Leisure Travel Wide Body, 110K miles, Runs and drives great! What sets this unit apart from the others is Solar. The previous owner had an extensive 280W solar setup professionally installed by the folks at AM Solar in Springfield Oregon. This was installed in 2018 and cost over $9,000.00. You can check them out on their website at https://amsolar.com/ The van itself is in great shape, It is the B3500 One Ton, 5.9L 360CI V8, Auto Trans and all of the normal options. Power steering, brakes, windows, locks, and mirrors. It has cruise control, AC, intermittent wipers, high tec AM/FM/Cassette stereo, power port (cig lighter), cup-holders, and all the gauges. New Michelin tires, oil change, new LED lights, fully inspected and ready to travel. Inside this unit is pretty amazing, and has lots to offer. It has a full kitchen with a 2 burner propane stove, sink, 3 way refrigerator, microwave, pop out counter, and lots of cupboards and cubbys. The drivers side has lots of storage including a pull out pantry (chicks dig pantry's) and a full bath with sink, RV toilet and a center aisle shower. There is a new Smart TV on a moveable mount in the front as well as a newer RV TV antenna. The back of the unit features a rear dinette that will seat 5 for dinner (3 seat-belts in the back) and folds down into a large (thanks to the wide body) 6'4"x5'9" queen size bed. There are 2 table options for the rear, and the smaller one can be used in the front between the 2 rotating captains chairs. There are 2 large overhead cabinets, and drop down drawers for storage as well. For comfort, there is a RV AC unit, a Maxair type roof fan, and a thermostatically controlled 12V propane furnace. Of course there is a complete water system with fresh, grey and black water tanks, propane water heater, 12V water pump and shore hookups as well. This unit also has led lights throughout to help with battery life. Outside the unit there is some fading on the stripes and flaking paint, but overall it looks great, is rust free and no dents or dings. The drivers side has a large lower storage compartment, door for the propane tank access under the drivers step, gas door, power cord access and a generator access door. Yes it does have a generator but it does not work, and will need to be serviced. The passenger side has access door the the large rear trunk area, battery access door where you will find a new Deep Cycle, AGM 100AH battery, and an outside shower by the side doors. It also has a large crank out awning, exterior porch light, and on top you can see the solar panels and newer RV TV antenna. This unit also has a rear trailer hitch, and rear air bags to raise the suspension up when loaded for traveling, and makes it stable going down the highway. For the AM Solar setup we have all of the paperwork that came with all of the components on this system. It is pretty extensive and built with quality components. While we do not do solar here at D&L, and are not real familiar with the all of the workings, we do know quality when we see it. Thanks for checking it out and let me know if you have any questions at 616-318-0118.
